10 Month BOTM beginning in July 2022
This summer we will offer the Traverse Block of the Month, a take on traditional row by row quilts, but with a decidedly modern look and a brilliant display of colors. This is a 10 month BOTM that will run July - April.
Finished Quilt size – 72” x 85”
Each row demonstrates a wide range of techniques that will build the skills of novice quilters and be a fun play day for the experts. Techniques include strip piecing, curves, and a new way to paper piece! This quilt is made up of 10 different blocks & sashing strips, both pieced into 72” (finished width) rows.
Reservation Fee: $35 (Fee includes your pattern once available)
Monthly Fee: $25/month
Call the Studio to reserve your spot. Reservation fee is due when you sign up, and you will receive the pattern when it ships to us in June! The official first month of the program is July.
This BOTM is kitted with 28 different Windham Artisan Cottons. You will receive almost 15 yards of fabric plus the pattern. There will be video tutorials available each month from Tara Faughnan, the pattern designer. They will include tips, tricks and technique demos. We are also planning to offer at least one technique workshop to show alternative piecing techniques - more details to come on that soon!
